I choose to HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve trails.
I recently hiked 52 miles along the Virginia Capital Trail, completing the Cap Trail Summer Challenge, from Richmond, VA to Jamestown, VA. September 1-4th, I will hike the trail again the opposite direction from Jamestown, VA to Richmond, VA… hopefully not alone.
September Kicks off two other amazing challenges…
1) Wounded Warriors – 50 Mile Ruck Challenge to support injured Veterans
2) Mi22ion – 48 Mile Walk Challenge to support Suicide Prevention and Mental health among Soldiers and Veterans.
