I chose to join a hike with HIKE for Mental Health to support those who are suffering with mental illness and to honor my son Ryan whose life was cut short by bipolar depression. I have set a goal to hike 32 miles; Ryan would have been 32 years old this year. Ryan loved the outdoors and was an advocate for those who faced challenges in their lives. It is my wish to honor his legacy by doing the same.

Beautiful way to honor Ryan. Stay strong!❤️
I appreciate the messages you post about mental health. It is shocking how underserved/overlooked it is. I know we are trying to become better educated about mental health – it just seems to move along so slow.
Thank you for inviting our support for your walk. Ryan’s bright light shines on in so many ways. We love and miss him! You are very special to us.
Go “Trixy” !
Sending our support for your hike!
