As a graduate student, hiking is my choice of exercise, one of my fave stress relievers, and often helps me think through ideas within my research. As a young scientist, I am passionate about funding scientific research to improve understanding of mental health conditions, improve outcomes for individuals who struggle with their mental health, and de-stigmatize conversations surrounding mental health. I’m doing hikeOctober to promote healthy habits in my day-to-day life and to raise money and awareness for mental health! I also love fall and am excited to see the foliage 🙂
