My name is Gabby and I have signed up to complete a hike to raise awareness to break the stigma of mental illness. I am doing this as part of a project for my masters program. I have struggled with mental health for majority of my life and am actively trying to raise awareness for mental health in my everyday life. This hike is part of that awareness. I’ll be completing this hike on my own and donations are not necessary. But sharing this page can help bring awareness to this issue and hopefully will continue to break the stigma of mental health and also conserve wilderness trails. I will be hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
I chose to join a hike with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails.
