Hello everyone! This is a special edition of the HIKE for Mental Health blog and for a special reason. This week is National Suicide Prevention Week. All across the nation people are sharing information and advocating for suicide prevention. And we are here for all of it!
Suicide is a difficult topic for many people to talk about, but it’s necessary if we are going to help save lives. Each day this week we will be sharing important information with you concerning the facts and statistics surrounding suicide, resources for help & hope, and what signs to look for & how you can help.
We will also be shining a spotlight on two organizations and what they are doing to help prevent another person from dying by suicide. Be sure to check back each day this week for information as well as resources.
