I chose to join a hike with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails.
As most of you know, I love hiking and being outdoors. Not only for my physical health but for my mental health as well. I have found that hiking is a great way to relieve anxiety and being outdoors brings a true sense of peace. I’m hoping to complete a total of 25 miles in October, while walking and hiking in Maine.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! If you would like to support this cause, no act is too small. A message, sharing this post, or donating to this great cause. I think we can all agree that mental illness has affected us all in one way or another, whether it be personally, a friend, or a family member. Anything to support this is greatly appreciated!
