Ascend to the summit of Bear Mountain with panoramic views of the Hudson River Valley… Climb the Perkins Memorial Tower for stunning autumn vistas across the Hudson Highlands and Harriman State Park! After an exhilarating hike, arrive back at Anthony Wayne Recreation Area to kick off Oktoberfest 2022, where you can enjoy German food, costumes, music and beverages! Join us!

HIKE for Mental Health

Ohiopyle is the southern gateway into the Laurel Highlands and represents the beautiful natural resources and unique sense of community that visitors can find throughout the region. Ohiopyle features many restaurants, a general convenience store, an ice cream parlor and a gift shop! We will hike from the Ferncliff Parking area along the Great Allegheny Passage to the Great Gorge Trail and on to Cucumber Falls. The round trip hike is about 3 miles.
