Widely regarded by experienced hikers as the two best vistas on the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, both Pulpit Rock and The Pinnacle are destinations on our newest HIKE for Mental Health.
Just an hour from Philadelphia, this loop is one of the best in the Northeast and maybe in the whole US.
According to volunteer hike organizer Amy Knopf,
Hiking, and getting others involved, is a favorite activity of mine. To hike for a cause that hits so close to home, for we all know someone affected by a mental illness, is the least I can do.
HIKE for Mental Health is a wonderful organization, and I’ve been wanting to help them with something ever since I first heard about them.
