The last of the proceeds from the 2016 Pearland Veterans Day Walk were awarded on Thursday to Walk partner Pearland VFW Post 7109. Accepting the $2,500 check on behalf of the Post were Commander Lewis Barnes, House Chairman and Special Events Chairman Ron Risdon (second from the right), President of the Ladies Auxilary Frankie Santoro (right), and WWII veteran and past Commander Donny Sandidge (front). Presenting the check for HIKE for Mental Health were Leo Walker and Nancy Kozanecki. Nancy is holding a resolution from the State of Texas commemorating the Walk and recognizing its participants.
