When I was in 2nd grade we got to watch the slideshow of Janet Sims family’s vacation to many Nation Parks. The one that hooked me was Carlsbad. I knew right then I wanted to go there. The year was 1984 the first time I entered that park. I remember well the excitement I felt entering that park. The wonders I saw in that cave far outreached my expectations. Since that day I have been studying that park. I have been to that park in excess of 30 times, and each time I see something new. I am so happy to lead this trip. You have know Idea how much I love turning people on to this park.
In 2011 we started HIKE for Mental Health, and we are making a difference. Not only do we fund mental health research and preserving wilderness trails, we also want to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness. So please if you can make a donation that would be great, and even better would be for you to sign up and join us on this great adventure. I will be your tour guide sharing information I have learned over the years. come join us. As I type this I will be back in this park in eleven days.
