Hiking the John Muir Trail is a once-in-a-lifetime experience I have been dreaming about for the past 5 years. But inevitably, life has always gotten in the way of it becoming a reality. My goal for 2020 is to stop waiting for the perfect opportunity to happen and finally make this dream come true.
During my research and planning I discovered the HIKE for Mental Health organization and instantly knew I wanted to help contribute and give back to the hiking community that has become such a big part of my life. As a result, I have designated my John Muir Trail hike as a ‘Create Your Own’ hike for Mental Health.
