Goal: 50.0 miles
54.3 miles completed
I choose to hikeOctober to bring awareness to and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health; I also hope to share the lived experience of bipolar disorder along the way. I plan to do all my miles with my pup, Huck.
I am keeping my fundraising goal small, given how much the events of this year have effected folks financially; I’m hopeful that I will surpass my milage goal. The focus of my commitment is to start a conversation about mental health, bring awareness to bipolar, as well as the inequities and injustice present in our current mental healthcare system.
Much love, & take care. xoxo Michaela & Huck.
