If you know me, you are aware of my eclectic “bucket list”. Here I go again. Hiking 2,193 miles of the Appalachian Trail. I want to make this more than just me walking in the woods. My goal is to raise $5.00 a mile. On a personal note: I’m afraid that a week of hiking in the rain (or heaven forbid snow) might make me want to quit. Soooo I am trying every trick I can think of to keep me from quitting. With people like you cheering me on I will have no choice but to keep going until I summit Mount Katahdin, Maine.
I chose to join with HIKE FOR MENTAL HEALTH to stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails. Getting a handle on my own mental stability has had as many ups and downs as the Appalachian Trail. I have been lucky and always had the love and support of family and friends to get me through when things were tough. I’m asking for your help to make it 2,193 miles on my own two feet. Please follow me on facebook and instagram and be my cheerleaders!
