Hi! I’m Shannon (Trail Name: “Hot Mess”). Over my lifetime and especially this past year, I have struggled with mental illness and have made it a goal to advocate for mental health research and visibility. I chose to join up with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails by thru-hiking the 485 miles of The Colorado Trail! I will hike ONE MILE FOR EACH DOLLAR! If I raise more than 485 dollars, I’ll register another thru-hike!
