“More than half of people with mental illness don’t receive help for their disorders. Often, people avoid or delay seeking treatment due to concerns about being treated differently or fears of losing their jobs and livelihood. That’s because stigma, prejudice, and discrimination against people with mental illness is still very much a problem.” https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/stigma-and-discrimination
Our trail systems are an amazing way to get outdoors, discover the peace that is often so difficult to find, and reinvigorate oneself.
I’ll be energizing my own spirit by hiking 55+ miles over 6 days. Would you consider making a donation, leaving a message of support/inspiration, or sharing this page? Thank you in advance for your kindness!
