Im hiking the PCT in 2021!
I have decided to join a hike with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails. I have struggled with my mental health throughout my life, and the mountains have slowly become a place of solace and healing for me. I think a lot of peoples’ brains react negatively to all the stimulus and manufactured nonsense that our sped up lives are full of, and that mental health issues are becoming more prevalent because of this. Returning to nature is an amazing way to get away from all that bullshit, feel at peace, and heal. This is why me must conserve and maintain it.
Hike for mental health uses 80% of the money for mental health research, and 20% for trail maintenance
