I chose to join a hike with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails.
As most of you know, I have struggled with bouts of depression and anxiety for quite some time. While I may be making progress there are so many who still need help; whether that be therapy, medication, or a simple reconnection with nature. One of my most therapeutic experiences for dealing with my mental health is going out into nature and just walking around, taking in all of the natural beauty we usually ignore or take for granted. This works for me and many others I know, but I am aware it does not help a large amount of people struggling with mental illness and so I’m hoping the donations made here (no matter the amount) can benefit those who need a little more in their journey.
I hope this goes well and I can continue making these a regular event, and maybe some of you would even like to join us next time!
Would you consider making a donation, leaving a message, or sharing this page?
Any help/support is greatly appreciated!! 💜
