Goal: $200.00

$1,275.00 donated
As a “survivor” of mental illness, I’m joining the HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and to help demonstrate the healing power of wilderness experiences. I hike to give back for the love, care and support I have received and to pay it forward for those who are still suffering. My goal is to serve as a small beacon of hope for others while expressing my gratitude for being able to live a healthy life.
I hope you will consider making a donation, leaving a message and sharing this page.
Thank you.

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine into trees.”
Nature has always given us peace, calm, and perspective. Love this cause and journey and cannot wait to see the mountains you climb.
Hello Brian H. and all other hikers. I champion your hike and advocacy for the mental health community. Though I tend to be low key about my mental disability I support all causes that advocate for mental health challenges. I wish you all good luck and “Godspeed” on your upcoming hike of the glorious Mount Washington. Being a hiker myself, maybe next year I will go on the hike. You may send materials to me online or in the mail. –The Best, Art
