Join me in honoring HIKE for Mental Health’s fifth annual #hikeOctober campaign to stamp out the stigma of mental illness, raise awareness of the challenges of mental illness, fund mental health research and conserve wilderness trails. #hikeOctober is free to join, open to hikers of all experience levels, and an easy way for your walk in the woods, or around the park, to make an impact!
This will be my third year and I chose to join #hikeOctober with HIKE for Mental Health for my own mental health and to again honor my uncle Danny (“Taz”) who lost his life to suicide. I am trying to achieve $10 for every mile hiked, with a goal of $200 and 20 miles!
