  2. We are so proud of you, Kevin, for following your dream and hiking the AT. You are in our prayers each day as you hike toward Maine. Thank you for choosing this worthwhile charity as it makes me think of Uncle Jack and the struggle he had all his adult life with mental health issues. Have fun and stay safe. We love you and look forward to seeing you as you pass through Virginia next month.

  3. Congratulations on the 400-mile hike. So proud of you!! Best of luck with the rest of the hike – make your dream come true. Wonderful idea to raise funds for mental health – much needed today. Best wishes, Sharmila

  4. I started feeling depression after college myself. Adulting is way overrated! I love that you’re doing this. You’ll pass close to my hometown in Upstate NY (Cold Spring) if you hike through Anthony’s Nose near the banks of the Hudson River, it’s beautiful country. Let your mom know to contact me if you need anything when you’re in that area! Good luck on your travels! Erica (former next door neighbor of your parents)

  5. I’ve known your mom since we were 5 and she keeps me up on your activities! I too have had depression- it’s terrible. I’m glad that hiking helps you. Have fun on the trail!!
