  1. I’m so proud of you for raising money for an extremely important cause and for following your dreams of hiking the AT! Can’t wait to meet up with you on the journey!

  2. We are so proud of you, Kevin, for following your dream and hiking the AT. You are in our prayers each day as you hike toward Maine. Thank you for choosing this worthwhile charity as it makes me think of Uncle Jack and the struggle he had all his adult life with mental health issues. Have fun and stay safe. We love you and look forward to seeing you as you pass through Virginia next month.

  3. Congratulations on the 400-mile hike. So proud of you!! Best of luck with the rest of the hike – make your dream come true. Wonderful idea to raise funds for mental health – much needed today. Best wishes, Sharmila

  4. I started feeling depression after college myself. Adulting is way overrated! I love that you’re doing this. You’ll pass close to my hometown in Upstate NY (Cold Spring) if you hike through Anthony’s Nose near the banks of the Hudson River, it’s beautiful country. Let your mom know to contact me if you need anything when you’re in that area! Good luck on your travels! Erica (former next door neighbor of your parents)

  5. I’ve known your mom since we were 5 and she keeps me up on your activities! I too have had depression- it’s terrible. I’m glad that hiking helps you. Have fun on the trail!!

  6. Kevin, we’re following your journey and it would be awesome to connect as you pass through New Hampshire

  7. This is such a great cause! I applaud you for taking control or your anxiety the best you can and not dwelling in it. Good luck in your journey!

  8. I have lost friends to suicide and have family crippled by anxiety and depression. Your journey is inspiring and amazing. Thank you for sharing it.

  9. I’ve had friends and family affected by depression and would love to help wipe out the stigma that accompanies a mental illness diagnosis.

  10. So excited for your hike and your fund raising efforts. Knew your parents in grade school. Stay balanced and breathe.

  11. Keep it up! Proud of you and what you’re doing to create positive change (before for yourself and others)! Beers on me when I see you

  12. Kevin, May your HIKE be a journey that you take for many, and your gift to others in your donation for a cause you are passionate about helping. Walk on, make friends, and spread joy!

  13. We are so proud of you Kevin. Best of the luck rest of the way to Maine!
