Thank you for making #hikeOctober2023 a Success!
NAME_OF_HIKER,
This year’s #hikeOctober was a great event! We had 66 participants who raised more than $12,250 dollars and hiked over 2,460 miles on behalf of mental health research, trail conservation, and their own mental and physical well-being.
After this year, the seven-year #hikeOctober event total is now nearly $75,000 and over 19,000 miles. That is an amazing accomplishment, and something each participant can be proud of! Take a moment to reflect on how you contributed to these totals this year, and in past years.

#hikeOctober may be over for this year, but HIKE for Mental Health continues to operate throughout the year. Next spring and summer we’ll have group hikes in different areas of the country that you can check out on this page. We’ll also continue to post on social media, specifically with stories from our Hiker Highlight series. Follow us on Instagram @hikeformentalhealth, and Facebook @iHike to catch these posts. Remember to tag @hikeformentalhealth in your social media posts over the coming year, even outside of the #hikeOctober event.

With participants all across the country and around the world, there were “Many Trails” but only “One #hikeOctober.” We’ll see you all again next year!
