The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation‘s 2014 Annual Report just showed up in the mailbox, and guess who is featured on page 31. (see photo below)
To date, HIKE for Mental Health has distributed nearly $75,000 to the BBRF to support their innovative grant programs. BBRF grants have catalyzed many break-through scientific discoveries regarding schizophrenia, PTSD, depression and other brain and behavior disorders.
Thanks to the support of our 2015 hikers and their sponsors, our total distribution to the BBRF since our inception should go well above $100,000 by the end of this year.
We are honored to be associated with such an impactful and valued-driven organization, and humbled to show up in their annual report.
By the way, the photograph they selected is from our annual Summit Mt. Washington (NH) hike, which runs in August every year. There is still time to sign up for this year – click here if you want details.
