Does it get any better than hiking up the summits of Pico and Killington Peaks in the fall? How about hiking along the oldest long trail in the US? How about visiting the highest shelter on the Long Trail?
You can do all of this in one day on Zach Cavacas’s Killington Summit hike on October 3 in Killington, VT. The hike is about 11 miles long and will feature a mid-hike visit to the Killington lodge for food and refreshments.
I want to lead this for HIKE for Mental Health because I’ve been affected by mental health issues personally and know other people who have as well.
In his free time, Zach is a volunteer firefighter, a sponsor for Narcotics Anonymous and a coach for Little League and Soccer. An avid hiker, he recently hiked the Knife Edge and Mt. Katahdin at Baxter State Park in Maine.
